Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas is here.

Emmanuel is with us.

God has chosen to be with us through His son, Jesus.

Good News has arrived.

Great Joy is amongst us.

And this Great Joy is for All the People.

Our ESL students have come a long way with their English studies. They have faithfully attended class every Tuesday night… even after a long day of school and work.


We ended the semester by celebrating their achievements and most importantly, sharing the Joy of Christmas with them. I may not know the hardships they go through every day, but my heart is filled with joy to see their smile and laughter with the sounds of Christmas songs, games, snacks, and small gifts. Regardless of the language barrier, my team and I were able to share Jesus with our ESL students through this wonderful story of Jesus’ birth.


This Christmas, let us share this “Good News” and this “Great joy for all the people” the angel said to the shepherds in Luke 2:10 with our family, friends, and neighbors.

This Christmas, God has put in my heart to open up my home to share this amazing Christmas Love with individuals and families in Cleveland. Through the holiday hustle, I was able to share meals and do holiday festivities with with a few neighborhood friends, as well as our Envision Cleveland family.


There is something special about sitting around the table and sharing a meal together.

  Hello Family and Friends. The weather in Cleveland is starting to get cooler and sweaters are coming out of the closet. But before we welcome the Fall season, I want to update you on our wonderful summer at Envision Cleveland! Now that we have wrapped up our summer programs, I want to provide you with an update from this summer on how we participated in engaging, educating, and empowering our communities. At the end, you'll learn about Envision Cleveland's newest business. Thank you for your continued support of Envision Cleveland! Engage Our summer teams helped us run 7 weeks of youth camps at the Bridge, Elton Ave. Garden, Concerned Citizens Community Council (C4), and Grace Old Brooklyn. Our kids had a blast! Each week had a different theme, including water games, rockets, camp games, and field day. We had about 85 kids  engage  with us over the summer. Still Chasing Sunrise

Who would have thought that mere a trip across the ocean 10 years ago would lead to where I am today? From the sunrise over Burma to the sunrise in Cleveland, God remains the same.  Those who know me well know that I hold Burma closely to my heart. I didn't know it then, but there was a reason why my heart was so heavy after coming home from Burma. God changed my heart in ways that I didn't know how to put into words. For a long time, I kept searching for that "why" and that "something" to fill the emptiness in my heart. I kept trying to fill this emptiness with things of the world with a career, school, ministries, people, trips, etc. Through it all, God was molding me for this moment. He was teaching me through life experiences. He was preparing me for the good and hard times. He was teaching me to be obedient. He was teaching me to live in faith. And that's a wrap!

I know it's been a while, but I'm still here... in Cleveland, OH. Not going anywhere for a while until the Lord calls me else where. I'm also doing well. Keeping myself busy with working at the Preschool and with Envision. In the meantime, I am slowly finding my words to put it into writing about everything. There's just so much to share! I will be sharing more about my transition to Cleveland and working with Envision Cleveland, as well as updates on the sites in another blog. However, I do want to share a snip bit of what October has been like for me.  Over the month of October, we had weekend teams every weekend and we had our last team for the year this past weekend, so that's a wrap ya! 😊😊 Although their trips were only for the weekend, I'm thankful for each team and each person on the team.
